AnswerNo commission baccarat is slightly more expensive than the standard game: about 1.46% on banker against 1.06%.
The rule
| Detail | Standard | No commission |
|---|
| Banker win | 1 to 1, less 5% | 1 to 1 |
|---|
| Banker wins with a six | 1 to 1, less 5% | 1 to 2 (half) |
|---|
| Edge on banker | 1.06% | About 1.46% |
|---|
| Edge on player | 1.24% | 1.24% |
|---|
Why it exists
It is quicker to pay and looks more generous. The half-pay six, which happens on roughly one banker win in eight, more than makes up the commission.
Which bet now?
On a no-commission table, player (1.24%) is the cheaper bet. Banker is still close.
Other names
Super 6 and Punto 2000 follow the same idea.
