How craps works
- Bet on the pass line.
- The come-out roll: 7 or 11 wins, 2, 3 or 12 loses.
- Any other number becomes the point.
- The shooter rolls until the point (win) or a 7 (lose).
- Odds bets, where offered, can be added behind the line.

Variants
Online craps appears as a software game and, more recently, as a live game with a mechanical dice shooter. Simplified versions trim the layout to the main bets, which is no loss. Crapless craps removes the losing come-out numbers and raises the edge to about 5.4%.
